Final day in Karlstad

After a lovely Winermaker Dinner with Pio Cesare and visit to a wine fair, it´s time for dinner before sleep and back to hometown Gothenburg. I´m a big fan och Br. Olssons Elektriska I have booked table there this night again with my friends. One soft and relaxing dinner with good food and wines.

While I´m waiting for my friends, I start of with a glass of Champagne Pol Roger Brut Reserve. For me Pol Roger always delivers quality for the money. When my friends arrives, we order 2 bottles of wine, MALVIRÀ Barbera d´Alba 2015 and AALTO 2016.

Food today is Crisp bread with swedish cheese called Västerbotten, cream, dill, red onions and Kalix Roe. Sooo good, so we order more. As main dish I took Ox cheek, truffle buttercube, raw fried cauliflower, smoked pork, ox sauce and freshly sliced truffle. and for dessert I choose Rosehip soup on their own interpretation. That was not my favorite dish. Whitour any questions, my favorite dish was Crisp bread.

Wounderful days in Karlstad, but now it´s time to get back home to Gothenburg.
