Enoteca Maglia & Vini e Liquori

Once again it´s time to have a night at Enoteca Maglia with friends from out of town. It´s like a family living room for adults, everybody enjoys it and find something on the menu that they will eat and drink. This saturday was just like that, 14 friends that had a long dinner with real good wines and then we finich the nght at theirs Vini e Liquori with some non italian wines.

We all desided to order small portions on the dishes, so we could taste as much as possible of the menu and the different dishes they have. Sometimes times that works, sometimies they don´t want to do it.

Classico burrata with olive oil to start of the night with, then salmon carpaccio which was very, very nice. My favorite amongs the starters. Asparagus with parmigiano reggiano cheese and finsh with grilled asparagus, broccoli, smoked almond, romanesco.

Then I went on with creamy risotto with roasted walnuts, sautéed beans and a little grated peccorino cheese before my king of the night was on the way in; my main dish that I have been waiting on all night, and I was not wrong. Baked beef cheef with saffron arancini, roasted carrot, endive and tomato sauce, that was really something. And to my dessert, as always when it´s on the menu; Crème brûlée with raspberry sorbet.

With all food with had some really great wines as well; Malvirà Barolo Boiolo 2009 and Caiarossa Aria Di Caiarossa 2013 and Pio Cesare Barolo 2000.

After dinner was finish, we went into theirs Vini e Liquori and had some french wines. Georges Dubceuf ”Côte du Py” Morgon 2014 & 2018.

Great night with great friends at wounderful Enoteca Maglia / Vini e Liquori was to an end for this time.
