Went to Stockholm for the wine show Garnacia Day at Operaterrassen and at the same time meet up my friend Alejandra from Bodegas Tempore sense she have brought her wines from Generacion range. After som tasting at the fair, me and her went out for dinner at restaurant Spanjorskan. We ordered a lots of tapas for us.
Pulpo a la Gallega with creamy potatoes, red pepper foam and crispy onions, and next was Tortilla Española with confit potatoes and onion mutton with grated curd cheese. Continue with Maíz Frito with smokey aioli and grated queso mahon before the Gambas al Ajillo with salsa de judia negra, chili and aioli. The last of these five tapas, I don´t remember the name of, maybe because is was not in top of my favorites.
Next tapas that was delivered to our table was Crispy long cooked chicken taco with creamy avocado and sour chilli. Then the Carnitas with long boiled right fox, chiliaioli and salsa on pineapple and lime, and of course some Croquetas de Iberico with aioli and sour red onion. Before dessert just a simple Bikini de Jamon with pata negra & serrano ham and creamy cheese. For dessert I desided to go with Churros with coffee ice cream, dulce de leche and chocolate. For me was the first time that I got a churros served as an taco.
After all this food, we both was very satisfy, but before we left Alejandra had a winetasting on her range Generacion wines for the whole staff, so for me I got to finish my night with a winetasting and that is something that I don´t mind.
